For my senior capstone at Northeastern, I worked on a miniature automated loom requested by the MINUS (Macromolecular Innovations in Nanomaterial Utilizing Systems) Lab. The objective of the project was to create a proof of concept for a bench top sized loom that would be able to fit in the MINUS Lab and be capable of weaving a monofilament.
